dubiousintent
Speaking in non-accusatory, very general terms: those sorts of error indicate something about the game executable is not as expected. Common reasons are a "pirated" (under Nexus terms we can't help you with that), or somehow "hacked" copy of the game. With FNV it is possible if you tried applying the FNV4GB Patcher to a GOG game (which is already patched that way) this might result. [Edit: Late thought is that it could be a "non-English" regional language version of the game, which TTW does not support. Check out their FAQ on how to switch your FNV to "English" mode.] So first make sure you have a legitimate, unmodified copy of the game executable from GOG. (FNV4GB Patcher creates a backup file of the original.) Perhaps re-install if necessary. If you believe you have a good copy and you still have this problem, suggest you take it up with the "Tale of Two Wastelands" Support forum. They are the experts on TTW and why that error gets generated. -Dubious-
c6dev
try verifying your game files in GOG Galaxy.
Marcurios
Don't accuse people of having pirated versions of the game, if you use the 4GB patch it's also not possible to install TTW, or if you already have edited your fallout.ini file it often botches too, or if a file is missing, or if you have many mods installed on a NV version..There are a plethora of reasons that the installer can throw this message, the installer is a so called piece of trash, it can't properly determine if the game is usable. Pixelhate
I wonder what part of "Speaking in non-accusatory, very general terms:" is unclear.
lvhoang
I actually installed the 4GB patched which modified the .exeAfter restoring the backup it seems the installer is now working fine for me. Question: should I reapply the 4GB patch again, or it is alrdy included?
dubiousintent
After "verifying files", or restoring a backup created by the Patcher, things are back to before applying the Patcher. You want to be using the very latest version of the 4GB Patcher. "Now supports the GoG version for auto loading NVSE" if that happens to be what you are running. -Dubious-
