Two Mod Suggestions: Orc Security System and Steward Sweeping Service

  1. Orc Security System: This is a big name for a simple mod. When I encounter an orc stronghold and open the gates, they just. . . stay open. I've been in and out of strongholds, left for days and come back, and the gates I've opened remain so. Same with paddock gates on farms and fence gates in people's backyards (especially in Riften). Just doesn't seem right. Would it be possible to script it so NPCs close those gates? Or if that's too difficult, to make it just so they close on their own after a while?

  2. Steward Sweeping Service: This one might be more difficult to implement, but I think it'd be more popular. I'm not sure how many of you are immersion-focused, but to me it doesn't ring true that if I know something over, it tends to stay knocked over. This bothers me specifically in my homes; considering how difficult it is to place the wedge of cheese just right on the plate, it's a Herculean task to keep my house looking as nice as it does when first acquired, even though my housecarl is there all the time. What I propose is a mod that somehow enlists the housecarl (or, in a house/living space without a housecarl, gives you the option to select any permanent follower as a steward for that location) in cleaning up things that are knocked down/out of place. Perhaps you could allow a player to take a "screenshot" of a room or house, and then have a command for the steward/housecarl to return that room or house to its appearance at the time the "screenshot" was taken. Items that don't fit the rollback could automatically be placed in one of the storage chests in the dwelling.

Do those sound even remotely possible? I've tooled around with the CK, but I'm by no means very informed about its limitations.
