dogeese
Posted this at Bethesda but no answers yet so thought i'd paste here Does anybody know of a solution to the outer body experience i get when i paralysed on Mutikapa (My giant Snow Tiger) The game still thinks that i am still on her back even after i fall off. In 1st person view i can still run around and attack, but 3rd person view its a mess. Im either melting or im invisible with my body getting bashed as i run around watching myself get beat up, which incidentaly is hilarious but seriously annoying. If i use 1st person view to finish whatever battle im doing, save then reload Oblivion all is well, though immersion is completely ruined. Any help on this matter would be appreciated, as I hate riding into battle now. Rather get off and run in, which voids the use of Mounted combat from Deadly Reflex? Forgot to mention that the paralysis occurs because NPC has shot arrow at meIts not mod related, I used to get it with horses on Vanilla too, just curious as to whether there is solution that anybody knows of.. Varus Torvyn
I don't use the Mounted Combat mod, but my first two guesses would be that you either have a mod conflict, or your Load-Order is glitched. FCOM Helper is the best available utility for load-ordering of mods. If you decide to use FCOM Helper, I suggest running OBMM afterward. OBMM changes the Oblivion hidden file "Plugins.txt" to reflect your latest load-order.
WoogieMonster
I do not have a solution to the problem, but I can confirm that it is not mod-related. A well-placed bandit arrow can cause the same glitch on a normal horse with no significant mods installed.
dogeese
I recommend FCOM helper to people too so im aware of it, but didnt know of the hidden file "Plugins.txt" with OBMM. Tend to use helper, then rebash patch and then close OBMM updating BSA after making mod changes anyway so it shouldnt be that, thanks. Its not like it happens all the time but thought it was worth asking about.
