Tchos
From the 14th to the 21st, GOG.com is running a "Diamonds of D&D promotion of what looks like all of their D&D games, including Neverwinter Nights (Diamond edition) for up to 65% off. Also included in the sale are Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, and The Temple of Elemental Evil, all great games. Where to buy Neverwinter Nights 2 is a frequently asked question lately, since the Hasbro/Atari dispute seems to have resulted in the game being withdrawn from all the stores where it was formerly mentioned being sold in an earlier news post here a few months ago, including Steam. As of this writing, there are only two digital download stores that have resumed offering it for sale (now under the Hasbro label, as the games on GOG are also). One is Gamestop/Impulse. Unfortunately, they don't offer it on its own, but only in one of the two bundles that include it -- Neverwinter Nights Complete, and D&D Ultimate Pack. The other is GamersGate, who have just recently resumed offering the Neverwinter Nights Complete package. If you're interested in getting NWN2 outside of a bundle, I'd suggest adding your vote to the NWN2 entry on GOG's community wish list system. Since they only release DRM-free games, it could be our best chance of getting the expansion Mysteries of Westgate without the infamous DRM that delayed its release by a year and a half! If you need a copy of NWN to play the mods here, or just need an extra copy to replace your discs, perhaps this can be your opportunity!
