ciakko
Hi everybody, first of all I want to thank every modder who has worked in Skyrim and before in Oblivion. You are the soul of The Elder Scrolls  And sorry for my english. A few years ago I started a mod in Oblivion with the aim of creating a real food chain. Now that with Skyrim hunting is not only a way to advance level but also the manner to recover raw materials, such as food and furs, this type of model may be even more interesting. The problem is that the Creation Kit has changed a lot and I have not learned to fully use it, it would take me months to carry out such a project. But I am sure that among you there are those who certainly would know to do in a few weeks. I will then give you an idea, let's see if someone likes it and bring himself to do this mod. My idea is to restructure the life of the fauna and create a food chain. Preliminaries: Now any NPC is loaded when the player enters the grid, you should always create scripts that take active in the background the actions of the fauna. The animals must be able to move freely in all Skyrim.Departing they should start in their natural habitat and not scattered randomly on the map. Some areas of Skyrim must have only herbivores.Animals that move in packs follow the pack leader, individuals can move freely. How do I adjust the food chain? Rules of hunting: Carnivores packs: they hunt one prey, or feed on a corpse, per pack every 12 hours. Herbivorous herd: eat one flower or plant per pack every 12 hours. Individual carnivores: they hunt one prey, or feed on a corpse every 24 hours. Individual herbivores: eat one flower or plant every 24 hours. Fauna: Wolf: 6 Packs of four individuals each. Sedentary during the day, hunting at night. It feeds on rabbits, chickens, foxes, goats, deer, elk, skeever, horker, and carcass in general. Attack other packs if they come in the same area. Each pack increases by 2 individuals each month, decreasing by 1 every week there is no food. Bear: 30 individuals in all. Sedentary and shy, he attacks the man if is too close. Hunts during the day. It feeds on fish, fish butcher, honey, horker, skeever and carcass in general. The population increases by 2 every month, decreasing by 1 every month there is no food. Tiger: 10 individuals in all. Inhabits the most inaccessible areas. It eats any prey. Attacks man in sight. The population increases by 2 every month and decreased by one every week there is no food. Skeever:10 packs of five individuals each. It feed on fish, fish butcher, crabs and chickens and corpses in general. Each herd increases by 5 every month and decreased by 2 every week that there is no food. Fox: 50 individuals in all. Hunts at night even close to population centers. It feeds on rabbits, chickens, mud crabs and corpses in general. The population increases of 6 per month, decreasing by 1 every week there is no food. Horker: 40 individuals in all. It feeds on fish. The population increases by 1 every month, decreasing by 1 every month there is no food. Crab: 50 individuals in total. IT feed on fish and shellfish. The population increases by 2 every week and decreased by 4 every week there is no food. Fish butcher:50 individuals across It feed on fish, crabs and any carcass over the water. The population increases of 4 per month and decreased by 2 every two weeks there is no food. Deer: 12 packs of 6 individuals. Sedentary at night, moving day It feeds on flowers and plants Each pack increases by 2 every month, decreasing by 1 every two weeks there is no food. Moose: 8 packs of 6 individuals. Sedentary at night, moving day It feeds on flowers and plants Each pack increases by 1 every month, decreasing by 1 every week there is no food. Rabbit: 60 individuals in all. It feeds on flowers and plants. The population increases by 10 each month decreases by 2 every week that there is no food. Goat: 4 herds of 10 individuals each. Feed on flowers and plants. Move during the day. Each herd increases by 2 every month, decreasing by 1 every 2 weeks there is no food. Hen: 10 for each farm. respawn every 2 weeks. Bees: 50 hives in total. respawn every 2 weeks. Fish: 1000 individuals in total. respawn every 2 weeks. Shells: 300 respawn every 2 weeks. The respawn of the plant will be done every 2 weeks. The relationships between the various species should be revised so that it is the most natural: the attacks must be aimed at finding food or for the defense of the territory. What I expect to happen? Certainly I do not expect to find the same wolf always behind the corner ready to ambush me, how boring!I expect to see even herds of herbivores that move through Skyrim, or bears fishing and fighting against fish butcher, risking in turn to become a prey. By two quick calculations I expect the plant resources end up fairly early because of the number of herbivores. But thanks to the food chain all you should self-regulate in about two months. In this environment, so delicate, the collection of alchemical ingredients, fishing or hunting reckless make much difference. Then there is the possibility that the carnivores are as close to the plains and cities in search of food.Or there is the possibility that the request for skins, for the construction of armor, result in the disappearance of one or more species of carnivores, so as to be for example Skyrim invaded by rabbits devourers of plants. In this case for an alchemist would be really hard.Wildlife would be really unpredictable. This is the first part of a project I have in mind to make Skyrim a real twenty-first century RPG. Now it is your turn, tell me what you think and especially help me.
