pedantic
Hi everyone. I've been playing this game whenever I can since last Xmas. As I am a part-time worker, this amounts to .... mutter, mumble .. hours a week. This weekend I bought the house in Skingrad for the very first time. Ugh ... only one word sprang to mind. Cluttered! :wallbash: It was time to delve into this CS everyone keeps going on about.Being realistic, I decided to have a bash at modding the ICWaterfront Shack to discover how it all worked before I destroyed my new home. Well, one day of reading, one day of fiddling, one day of corrections(and a 2:30 a.m. bed time last night testing it all) and I have a superb flawless modified waterfront dream home - shack (did I say dream home, and flawless?).The last thing on my 'to do' list was: Change 'created by DEFAULT' to my own good self and add a description of what I had achieved. Basically, I'd given myself more bananas for the beans I'd handed over. Nothing fancy, simply a bigger space with the same 'lower' items layed out in a larger living space. Erm .. did I mention one or two extra storage units ? Well, even they are paid for by juggling the individual unit costs of each home update. (Same original total cost)Thing is though, and the essence of this post, when I tried to change the 'DEFAULT' name, my PC locked up solid.(Main wall socket reset). When I'd re-booted, the .esp was not displayed in the load list even though it was in the data directory. When I tried to open the CS by clicking on the .esp I was informed that the file was either corrupt or not created with CS. Sigh ... Loaded up my pen-drive back-up and everything was fine. So, after all that work I remain a total newb who is unable to name, describe, and distribute my first mod. (Not that I know how to...yet!) In short, Hi everyone ... I'm a total newb :whistling: I hope your weekend was more rewarding than mine.

XanAlderon
I've been privately modding for a while now, never releasing any of the mods that I make, partly because I don't know how and partly because all my mods suck!
