Can't integrate Merge Plugins with MO2. Some advice needed.

Hi Guys.

 

Having repeatedly exceeded the 255 plug-in limit resulting in an unstable game at times, I'm TRYING to get to grips with the Merge Plugins program.

I'm following Gamer Poets guide to the letter, and I'm falling down at the very first hurdle.

 

When I open MP and try and set the integration with MO2, the OK box is permanently grayed out. Even though I have followed the guide to the letter, and all of the paths are correct. I can however load it though MO with no problems. Obviously though I can't link to the Papyrus Compiler, Flags, or Champolion through MP as the OK button is deactivated.

 

What setting am I missing? I'm sure it's something simple, bu then again so am I. I know there's the thread on the MP mod page, but with over 2000 posts, it'll take forever to find the solution. I was hoping some of the very helpful folks here could point me in the right direction.

Okay continuing from this issue, I MAY have found a work around. Loading up the mods I want to merge in MP through MO works just fine, and they seem to merge fine also. However the merged plugin is not placed in the MO mods folder. Just in the default merged folder. So Could I copy any textures, and meshes to the games Data folder. create a archive from the new merged .esp file, then add that manually to MO like any other mod?
