LE Modifiable and Persistent Player Keep

First of all, I don't have any modding experience. I know that some of the ideas enclosed here would be difficult or even impossible to implement. This Mod is just an idea that I had when Skyrim was first released, and I thought that I would share it:

 

The purpose of this mod would be to provide a non-faction home base for the Dragon Born. The Keep I was thinking of using is Fort Greymoor, or possible creating a Fort from scratch and dropping it in a good location. Whatever the location it should be a bandit fort, and would be set to transfer to the player after completing a clear quest from the holds Jarl. Once acquired, the player would automatically be assigned a Steward for the Keep. The keep itself will be in the same disarrayed state that it was when cleared. It will be the players option if they want to spend money and materials on repairing or upgrading the Keep. Ultimately the Keep would be a base location to house unused Housecarls, Followers, and the three dungeon followers.

 

There could also be a mini-game in maintaining and defending the Keep. Basically each upgrade will raise the total value of the Keep, and will encourage enemy factions to attack. The higher the value of the Keep, the greater the numbers and tenacity of the attackers. This will require the players to balance defensive, and aesthetic upgrades. Damage to the Keep could occur during the raids, and if the Keep is overrun, the ownership of the Keep is transferred to the faction that attacked, and will be staffed with the attacking factions troops, requiring the player to reacquire the Keep. Attacks would be random, and might occur when the player is away. To insure not losing the Keep, the player could appoint a Captian of the guard, to hire, equip, and train NPC guards for the Keep.

 

I have more design documents that go into much greater detail. If anyone wanted to attempt this style of mod, I would be more than happy to share everything that I have written up, and help with any design assistance they might request.
