Question about publising mod

Hi, i would like to ask 2 questions that i would like to make clear for myself.

I have made a retex of dawnguard armor, now a lot of ppl asked me if i can make a plugin that doesn't require dawnguard, i personally think that this would be publishing Bethesda content that you need to pay for that you get, for free, which isn't legal.

The other problem is more difficult, i am currently making an amor that contains mesh from dawnguard dlc, but its made just partially of it, not completely and is quite heavily modified. Now am i able to publish this kinda of mod without Dawnguard as required esm, or not?

I hope some of site owners or moderators will see this and will be able to help me. Thank you for your answers.

Well,

If you are retexturing a Dawnguard armor, probaly all those who will download have Dawnguard. So wont be a problem.

If they got their Dawnguard as piracy, thats not your problem.

What you CANT do is add this retex of a dawnguard armor(3ds), and add the .nifs of the armor from dawnguard package and the esm to add the armor in the game.

About create a brand new armor using dawnguard meshs, carefull, cause it may ask textures from dawnguard... as cubics and bloobs... and that wont me permited also.

Man, just create a mod and add dawnguard.esm as a master file required and u free of problems. ;)

Helped?

Yea, thank you, you confirmed my thoughts. Well the problem is that a retex is made into standalone armor set, cause ppl usually complain about replacers and everyone now wants it to be Dawnguard not required and it has became very popular somehow and im not sure what to do.

About the other armor containing Dawnguard mesh, it would contain just that. All other stuff like textures etc, it will be all made by me, and im really tired of listening: Can you please make this non Dawnguard required. :wallbash:
