sneakycamo Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 So I got Skyrim for the PC a week and a half ago and I haven't been able to get full enjoyment out of it due to some crazy random lag that seems to last for random amounts of time. First let me get my specs ot of the way. I am playing on an MSI GT60. I have an Intel i7 -3610QM. My graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 670m with 3gb of vram. I have 12 gb of ram (4gbx3). My HDD is 1TB (500gbx2). I have updated drivers aswell. Now when I bought the game the first night it ran like crap and the game default told me to run on medium which I did until I couldnt handle the lag so I quit. The next day I loaded up and decided screw it im gonna play on ultra. I did this and also installed quit a few mods and ran it fine with a solid 50 fps. That night I installed a mod and it droped to an ungodly 6 fps. I uninstalled the mod and it stayed the same until I got so fed up I reinstalled it. After reinstalling it the game set me to ultra high and worked like a charm, 50fps and I had about 25 mods. I figured that I had fixed it. I was wrong, about halfway through the day it dropped again. I reinstalled and still nothing, telling me to play on medium again with no low shadows. I am almost positive my computer should be able to handle this which is why I need help.
