PedgeJ
I just got a change in my characters face. After she went to get the Horn of Jorgen Windcaller and was let down she was looking towards one side with a mean look. Was that a mod I have or is that normal. Also after Flower girslhanky panky she has a doofy face. How can that be stopped?TYIA
anjenthedog
Afaik the doofy face your character gets after "encounters" will go away with time. I think it's meant to be a "satisfied" look. If the eyes are stuck pointed in one direction for a long time, you may be facing the OSA/OSEX facial expression bug that has surfaced following the 1.5.80/2.0.16 update. Afaik, either mfg fix or opparco are the mods that plays with facial expressions. I've removed opparco since the 1.5.80 update to be safe (mfg fix is working fine) I'm kinda glad I encountered that eye bug frankly. OSA/OSEX seems to introduce some virus like behaviors to the game, as while I had it installed, I was getting some really bizzare behaviors that have completely disappeared since uninstalling and falling back to a pre OSA/OSEX save. It's gone from my installation now and won't be back.
PedgeJ
Is there anyway to remove the doofy satisifedfrom Flowergirls? It is so cringe and I cannot believe the authors don't let you turn it off. As for the eye bugI haven't installed OSA/OSEX, so what fix should I install? But I kinda liked the eyes looking sideways to be honest, is there a mode that lets you alter that? I like it but dontwant other eye activity. And thanks. anjenthedog
Perhaps (see its MCM), but I don't think so, at least not via Flower Girls (could be wrong...not sure and can't check any time soon). There are mods that allow forcing facial expressions, and unless you have other problems (like I outlined) it should fade with time, and in addition, if you have Sexlab Aroused or other mods that allow forcing the player arousal level, you can set the arousal level to a low value to force a facial change to the "flat" expression, but that behavior is part and parcel of flower girls. In fact, with Sexlab aroused, I believe you can lock the arousal level to a set a low arousal value so you never get that expression, since it effectively makes the player "frigid" Once it's in place though, I think you just have to wait for it to fade or force it via a mod that allows direct facial expression changes. But as I noted, locking the arousal level *probably allows blocking it in the future.
PedgeJ
Hi there thanks, you kinda are way beyong me in this stuff but I think I am cathing on. I have Sexlab aroused installed, just did it now. Do you know where in the settings it is in the MCM? Lots of newness. ;)
anjenthedog
Warning this is a bit long...I'm trying to cover a lot of territory and I'm nowhere near an expert) -------------------------- Like I said, I am unable to access that computer right now and won't be able to probably for days or even a week. I'd suggest just looking through the MCM tabs for SL Aroused and get familiar. There's one called "master" or something like that (presumably some BSDM type title) that's the one you can set a targeted NPC's (or your player character) characteristics in. As I recall, you have to be away from others when you act upon your own player or it'll default to the person you're around as the actionable character, it can be a bit fussy about who it acts on. Haven't used it in a while. the entries are as I recall pretty self-explanatory. a number from 0-100 that defines your horniness, two that set how much of a libido you have (a rate and something else) , a couple checkboxes that can either force you to have some fixed level or block any changes in your rate of change in horniness over time, etc. one checkbox that decides whether you're a private person or an exhibitionist...TBH, I don't recall them all. (It's still installed but I've pretty much stopped using that as the whole thing can get to be a real burden to playing, like trying to work, and be in a band, and still having to find time for sleep AND servicing an insatiable girlfriend/wife) In addition, a web search on "How to use SL aroused" might call up something that does better than my cursory explanation. Again, that will only set the arousal state, not the literal facial expression. Other mods allow setting facial expressions, but honestly I don't recall the names (I believe you can use "console" commands if your have mfg fix installed, but I've never tried that, and afaik the mods that allow direct tweaking via an MCM require either mfg fix or oppcaro as required files to make them work. And FYI, I also removed the facial expression mod I downloaded early on for some reason or another. so I'm of little or no help on making them go. --------------------------------------------- Since you're new.... here's a tip:You know what I did when I first started playing Skyrim earlier this past spring? I slowly reviewed most every mod at nexus...starting by looking at the thumbnail description listings, ie, clicked on them one by one from the main page for SE if they tickled my fancy (kinda like seeing a pretty follower mod or a weapon mod or an armor or cheat or utility or whatever that you find interesting) , then read the requirements and features, looked at the pictures, and downloaded/installed those that I found compelling enough to try/use. Some I later uninstalled like the facial expression mod I am referring to. (and also I watched quite a few MXR mods youtube videos, even when they referred to Skyrim instead of Skyrim Special edition to get familiar with the game ahead of installation) IMO, A good starting point at nexus for reviewing which mods you want etc would (or might) be this 1) open www.nexus.com/skyrimspecialedition2) click on the "mods" tab, then choose "Most Endorsed All Time"3) review and install those you find interesting. for me, I installed the unofficial skyrim special edition patch, Static mesh improvement, Skyui, A quality world map, Alternate Start - Live another life, Fores New idles in Skyrim SE - FNIS SE, Realistic Water Two, XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Edition - XPMSSE, Achievements MOds Enabler, Cutting Room Floor, ApacheSkyHair, Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer - CBBE, Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - RDO SE, Bodyslide and Outfit Studio, RS Children Overhaul, and KS Hairdos SSE, Racemenu, MFG Fix, and very critically (at least for me and my system) Better dialogue Controls (that last one was crucial for making sure the menus we encounter in game worked correctly)... and that's just for for starters. Over the ensuing months my list of installed mods has increased to around 220-230. It need not be all at once. In fact, I'd urge you not to try stuffing the game full right off the bat. As a "beginner" I'd recommend that you take it slow and make sure the last mod/mods you installed result in a playable game, rather than dumping 50 or 100 mods into the game thinking you're saving time, and then finding the game is unstable, or simply wont' run at all, where you'd have no idea what the f happened.... Pay close attention to the requirements in each entry, as that will often require installing additional mods to make them work. And keep in mind whatever limitations your system has. For instance, If you're short on memory and have an old video card, don't go downloading some 8K weather texture.... After you have your foundational mods installed, start looking at today's mods or the other tabs., going to LL or wherever for others that aren't here (offsite you'll probably need to literally download the mods to your drive, then install via vortex manually) Oh, one more thing.. Make sure the mods you find are actually Special Edition Skyrim mods. That's whether you get them here at Nexus or elsewhere. good luck! PS> if I'm telling you sht you already know, forgive me...
