Frustrated with an unfixable CTD!

Hey all,

I searched and searched and tried everything I could, but every time I load a new area (Even when starting a new game), Skyrim (PC) crashes to desktop with no error message. Here's a list of things I've tried to do to narrow it down to no avail:

-Computer reboot.

-Reinstall the game.

-Check integrity of the game files.

-Expand memory to 4gb (Turns out it is an unnecessary step with the latest updates?).

-Uninstalling all mods, as well as Dawnguard.

-Deleting my .ini files and resetting my graphics settings.

-Setting graphics to "Low."

- Reinstalled my graphics drivers (This made it load the area and then crash two or three seconds later. Improvement, I guess?)

Is there a common fix I just completely missed?

I love Skyrim, so please help!

My specs:

Manufacturer: Asus

Model: Asus Desktop PC CG8350

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @3.4GHz

RAM: 8gb

System type: 64-bit

Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 550 ti

When you re-installed your graphics drivers, did you uninstall the current ones completely? You may not have, through no fault of your own. If not uninstalled completely, the new drivers may not have installed correctly. Nvidia has become a pain in this respect. Good page on the new issues with properly installing Nvidia drivers can be found here.

Further troubleshooting info below in sig.
