AnkhAscendant....you forgot the Reach.... :happy:

D'oh, you're right, how could I forget my own home hold? ;) I fixed it now.

I gotta say, StayFrosty, marrying Elisif and having Madanach as your steward - working for you - might not make for the fair and equal peace you'd want. I can already see the schism forming again, murmurs about how it's an alliance in name only and how the Forsworn are still second-class citizens... Marry her off to your mage instead. ;) For politics go marry Idgrod the younger. (That's a good idea. I might take it myself. ^^ )

Kodlak would have to politely turn you down on that Housecarl gig. If not for health reasons, then because that would be the last thing he'd ever actively do - get involved in the riff-raff of running a hold.

Ah, but if my dude doesn't join the Companions Kodlak lives forever.... :turned: ...gotta love games.... :biggrin:

Kodlak would be the last guy I'd want to keep cooped up in servitude, he's better than that.

If anything have him be that Personal Advisor, you know the guy that all Jarl's, Kings, Presidents have to talk to when they really need an unbiased and unattatched to the politics of the court ear on sensitive matters (that the Steward is incapable of giving from time to time). He'll keep you grounded when everything else around you is spinning in chaos.

Dawnstar not in the poll = Poll is invalid.

Hold = The Pale (duh)

Housecarl (it is the same as bodyguard in game fyi) = Erandur (the Dunmer from the Skull of Corruption quest)

Mage = J'zargo (the Khajit mage from the College of Winterhold)

Steward = Brunwulf Free-Winter (the Nord who would take over as Windhelm Jarl if Ulfric is killed) (picked him due to being the most honest hard working guy in Skyrim with no prejudices. He'd be a good steward for me seeing as my character sides with Ulfric thereby Brunwulf never will become Jarl of Windhelm)

Court Entertainer = Cicero

Blacksmith = Balimund (Blacksmith from Riften)

Captain of the Guard = Ralof

Quarter Master = Belethor

Personal Doctor = Babette (300 year old Master alchemist + with me being Listener to the Dark Brotherhood she has every reason to keep me and my family well)

Executioner = Cicero (and his executions shall be gloriously entertaining to watch)

Wife = Ysolda

There, poll's actually fixed-fixed.

I don't see any reason why our courts should be constrained by what everyone else's does, which is why I have a separate bodyguard and housecarl. ^^

My executioner, now that you mention it, = me. :]

Thanks.

Well your character would certainly be well protected.

I like having your character be the hold's Jarl and executioner.

I almost made my character the court wizard as well as he is archmage of the College after all. But I realized my character would generally be to busy with the running of the hold, making certain the port runs well and is not attacked by pirates, make certain the mines don't have a gang war against each other, in addition to my duties to the College and the Dark Brotherhood (though obviously few know of that) and one of Ulfric's top generals that in order to prevent my character from being spread to thin I delegated the lesser magical needs of the hold to J'zargo to handle.
