wfandrews
One of Moira's quests, the one where you go get horribly injured, is bugged. I go to minefield and get injured by the mines and exploding cars so that my health is less than 50% and I am crippled but it does not affect the quest. I just got the GOG version and am at lvl 12 and this is the first problem I have had, no ctd's or crashes at all. I am pretty certain it is a mod; when I level up with Life Giver and Toughness they both have five levels and I got them much earlier than I ever have before. When I played with the Steam version I got Life Giver at a higher level and both could only be picked once. That is the only difference I have seen between this version and the Steam version. The only mods I can think of that would affect perks are More Perks and More Perks Requested by Dree, and maybe Wasteland Mastery.. Anyone have any idea what is causing those perks to be altered or what is causing this quest bug? Edit, I think Toughness had 3 levels when I played the Steam version. Deleted21304489User
I've never used any of those mods, but I'm guessing one, or more is causing the issue with the quest line. I'm pretty sure the toughness perk only has one level to it. No matter what version of the game you're using. It may have something to do with the 85% DR cap in the game. Honestly, the only way to tell is back up disable ea. mod and see what happens. Good luck.
wfandrews
I fixed it by going back to a much earlier save and doing the quest at level 4 instead of 12. I am pretty sure the problem was a mod called "More Perks" in which you get the perk for more health and the toughness one at lvl three with five levels to each. When I did the quest at lvl 12 I had 490 hit points, which is what borked the quest. When I did the quest at lvl 4 I had 270 hit points and the quest progressed normally. That way I could still keep that mod which is sort of a cheat mod because you can really load the hit points and toughness perks up. Hopefully this will not break anymore quests in the future. Thank you for your reply.
