letthehammerfall
Hi I hope someone can help me. I have an armor and it's not temperable now. I got the CK and tried to make it temperable, following the instructions of Bethesda, but I couldn't make it. it's kinda confused. anyone can help me out with that? thanks in advance
HedgehogintheFog
You need to make recipes for all parts of desired armor. In CK go to items\constructible object then right click on any item and press new. In created object select part of armor you created. Under object count put 1 and below that select where you want to create that armor e.g. "CraftingSmithingForge". And lastly, in required item list add materials and how many pieces you need for crafting. Hope this helps.
letthehammerfall
hey thanks! the armor is already craftable and there are recipes for all parts. then, how should I proceed?
HedgehogintheFog
Well, temper is below recipes, just scroll down. You can edit existing temper like "TemperArmorStormcloakBearBoots" and put desired required item for tempering. Just change ID and hit ok. When asked to create new object press yes, and that should work. Which armor do you want to make temperable?

HedgehogintheFog
Basically its the same process. Play for a while with CK and you'll definitely make it work...
letthehammerfall
take a look: is anything wrong?
HedgehogintheFog
Yeah, it's fine. Just, you should increase Steel Ingot count. Should be more than one ingot for an armor. Your choice ;)
letthehammerfall
but I can't save it. I must save and create another .esp file. is it correct?
HedgehogintheFog
Right. When you load data in CK, select masters Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. Than select wanted armor plugin (.esp) and click Set as Active File. Just make sure to make backup, becouse that will overwrite armor .esp later when you save your work.
