It's been a bit over a year sense I was last in the Wastelands around Boston and was considering reinstalling and playing around for a bit again. This is all contingent on making a viable and (mostly) stable mod list. The first step will be a major overhaul mod, so decided to ask the experts (you) here which ones are around. I've used both Horizon and Immersive Gameplay in the past. Are they still active? Are there any new major overhauls out there that are worth a go? Which would people recommend? Any sub or supporting mods for your favorite overhaul that you would recommend? Any mods that should be avoided (because they change the same things)? That last one is always the biggest issue I have these days as the overhauls are so large, it's hard to make sure I don't install other mods that change the same things and thus cause issues. I can recommend this mod author: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/46256407?tab=user+filesSome useful mods, which used alongside eachother can change your gameplay a lot. There is a mod there that turns Fallout 4 into FO76 sorta open world with either feral ghouls or synths. I am keeping this in my "to play" list. Read descriptions if interested.
