ahahlberg
I've been running Fallout 4 for several years now using a triple monitor system via Nvidia Surround and Flawless Widescreen in 6000x1080 resolution. I've even completely re-installed this whole setup at least twice due to various bugs and frustrations with the game, including getting into the world of mods. I'm currently running 41 mods of various kinds from texture/visual enhancements to AAF and associated animations to game extensions like Ellen the Cartographer, Fusion City, Orphans of the Commonwealth etc. Before I get into my minor problem, I'd just like to say how very impressed I am with all the work that has been done by so many people to extend the Fallout 4 experience. I've never before seen such a broad selection of user-developed extensions to a proprietary product that have integrated so seamlessly and provided such entertaining and useful improvements to an already enjoyable game. Yeah - there are some problems from time-to-time but the community that is out there supporting this game are nothing short of amazing at providing useful guidance to solving individual problems.Right now everything is running well but for one small issue. When I'm out scrounging around in the Fallout 4 world and I encounter a document to read, my current configuration of Flawless Widescreen presents the viewing of the document about the size of a postage stamp on my display. I've actually resorted to using a magnifying glass to try to read the document with only partial success.Does anyone else have this problem where the documents presented are too small to read on the screen? Everything else about this arrangement using Nvidia Surround through Flawless Widescreen to play the game in 6000x1080 resolution works flawlessly with perfectly symmetrical representations of all objects in the FOV. Only text documents appear grossly undersized but correctly proportioned. So does anyone else have this problem and have any kind of workaround? It's a pretty minor issue overall that I've lived with for years since everything else works fine, but nonetheless I'd like to fix it. I'm on my third full play-through from scratch after bombing my whole Fallout 4 installation learning about mod load order and mod precedence and now that things are running smoothly it's time to go after the minor annoyances.I've attached a screenshot of the Flawless Widescreen setup I'm using in case that helps. ahahlberg
Perhaps I needed a snappier title that mentions this is a problem, but so far no one has done more than glance at this post. But, in retrospect, I should probably have taken this to the WSGF if I expect any detailed suggestions. After all, this is not a typical installation. But I am still impressed by the level of detailed work put into modding Fallout 4!
