fallzout2011
Hello everyone. I am working on a monster of a total conversion mod for Oblivion that'll be at least as big as Cyrodil if not bigger. My current problem is that I'm getting purple landscape in the distance! I've done the following: 1) Updated distance LOD data. 2) Generated LOD land data. 3) Generated Full LOD from Height map editor. So it appears that the undetailed land defaults to purple, how do I solve this problem?
bben46
I'm not sure if this is you problem or not. I haven't seen this in quite a while and thought it had been fixed along with a lot of other bugs in one of the oblivion patches. Purple ground with repeating tiny maps of the Imperial City This is caused by corrupted shaders. Here is a link to replace them without having to reinstallhttp://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=20348 Thanks to Qwaxalot for this tip

That didn't work at all. Thanks for trying though. Its related to LOD becuase when I approach the purpleland it transforms into what it should be. Only stuff in the distance is corrupted.
