I've just started a new game with this character:

Name: Hildebrand

Sex: Male

Race: Nord

Sign: The Lady

Class: Ranger (custom)

Favourite attributes: SPEED, ENDURANCE

Major skills: ALCHEMY (intelligence)

LIGHT ARMOR (agility)

LONG BLADES (strength)

MARKSMAN WEAPONS (agility)

SHORT BLADES (speed)

Minor skills: ARMORER (strength)

ILLUSION (personality)

MEDIUM ARMOR (endurance)

MYSTICISM (willpower)

SNEAKING (agility)

Class description: Relying on their speed and endurance to move swiftly and silently across great distances, Rangers are skilled in the use of both long and short blades, as well as marksman weapons. They tend to prefer light to medium armor, which they keep in fighting condition with their own armorer tools. Their knowledge of herbal lore makes them good alchemists, and they have also learnt some spells in the colleges of illusion and mysticism to help them during their travels.

I don't know if this is 100% right, I wrote it as I remembered it. However, I tried

to find a compromise between functionality (i.e. covering all 7 attributes between

my major and minor skills) and realism (i.e. choosing skills that a ranger would

actually need.)

I have just started playing, so I still don't know what equipment my Ranger is

going to use, but I think he will wear Nordic Fur or something like that to begin with, and then move on to something more powerful but still consistent with him

being a Nord. I think he will spend much time in Solstheim, and I also believe

he will make his own custom weapon someday, which will maybe bear

the name of Hrunting. Last but not least, he will make his money by hunting

wild animals at the beginning of the game, before moving to more dangerous

occupations. All for realism's sake... my character is a Nord Ranger, so I'll play

the game as a Nord Ranger would :) What do you think?
