dubiousintent Posted August 7, 2019 Share Posted August 7, 2019 "Project Nevada" includes an older version of "Mod Configuration Menu", which needs to be replaced by the updated "standalone" version (install after and place below (higher numbered position) in the "load order"). Then you have to make some edits to PN's XML files. Please see the wiki "HUD-UI-Menu issues" article. It's not hard; just make a backup for safety sake. dubiousintent Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 They are in that article under "The Mod Configuration Manager aka MCM". (If you have read it and are having trouble understanding what it says, please help me improve it by explaining where you got confused.) Basically, you want to be sure there is only one line reading: <include src="includes_StartMenu.xml"/> and that should be the one placed there by the "standalone" MCM plugin in the "menus\prefabs\includes_StartMenu.xml" file. SirTwist Posted August 13, 2019 Share Posted August 13, 2019 An easier way to do this is to watch Cal/Dirty Weasel Media's Fallout New Vegas Mod Organizer series. It's not hard to follow along most of it. It includes installing MCM, Project Nevada, and a few other mods. You can switch to MO2 to install mods with. baldalpaca Posted October 28, 2019 Share Posted October 28, 2019 Hijacking this thread with another PN issue someone might have an answer to: Does the "weapon condition max damage penalty" setting work for anyone? As far as I understand it's supposed to be a NVSE script that overrides the hardcoded settings, but it doesn't seem to have any effect for me. Is there a fix/workaround?
