anjenthedog
I have no idea if this exists already or I'm just being dumb about it, but while the idea is fresh... I'm used to working with CBBE bodyslides player comes with stock bodyplayer body is replaced by tweaked bodyslidetweaked bodyslide is (theoretically) saved as a preset for the body type so it can be used laterfavorite or expected (or who knows, all) armor/clothing is fitted to tweaked bodyslide (or slightly modded variant, that's often noted as the "-clothing" version) ex:athletic bodyathletic body clothed ... So along comes a new body model you choose to apply. This time though, there is no source bodyslide provided along with the mod (not a complaint, just a reality) Or... Alternatively, you modify the body within game by using racemenu, and/or using something like Lazy Tools or another mod that offers MCM modification of body features, because it's convenient and realtime "in situ" Now....the clothes don't fit. They might fit ~80%, 90%, maybe even 95%, but they're just not fitting. stuff has holes in it from the disparity between the body originally used to shape the armor/clothes and the body filling them. ... Ok, so here we are...How do I fit the clothing? Hmm...well ... I don't. at least no right now. I just deal with leggings that show skin where it's clear they weren't meant to, where body pieces show gaps as well, where some armor piece just vanish because they were originally fitted to a body that isn't even close. So I thought to myself, "Well, it sure would be nice if you could extract the current model as a bodyslide model suitable for use in Bodyslide64.exe in order to fit clothes, wouldn't it?" Is something like this doable, ie could a mod be made that can extract the current body (as seen on screen) and convert it into an actionable bodyslide model? Does a process already exist and I'm just being a "clueless newb"? thanks for reading all the way to the end, and thanks if you have any salient and/or beneficial input to add. PsychoSlammer
Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't that be a preset? Or you talking bout how modders create their files to "curvy" there for it don't exactly fit "athletic"? Create a body preset you want, save as then create another and save as. Then build armor then take the "meshes" folder files of the armor and save on your drive some where then do it again for the other preset. I may be way off from what your asking. First off, thanks for the reply. But... you lost me at "create a mesh" (I'm just not that savvy yet) In part it'd be like one of those racemenu presets, except the idea is to create a bodyslide capable preset with sliders, kinda like downloading and installing a bodyslide model does. Or exactly like, in terms of functionality within bodyslide64. Once click, and voila, bodyslide of current character with all in game changes included. To be honest, I'm not savvy enough to talk about it much more in depth than this. Or I'd have solved it on my own already.
PsychoSlammer
so you wanna take the body you made in Racemenu and put in BS so you can conform armor to it.?im not entirely sure how the two impliment together cuz i always just made my preset in BS and moved my racemenu to 100% so it uses the shape of BS.in BS there is a "Build Morphs" that is for Racemenu but i have not messed with that to be able to help. but its supose to send your armor sliders into racemenu or somthing like that. Expired6978 explains how it works on the mod page.
anjenthedog
Well, in this specific case, the body is actually a body replacement mod that came without a separate bodyslide model (An athletic body with visible musculature). I have modified it slightly with racemenu and lazytools. But the principle of what I'm suggesting is simple ( in concept). Extract an actionable bodyslide model directly from the congolomerate body, as seen within game. That is, extract an actionable bodyslide usable within Bodyslide64, with or without (ie, regardless of) any changes from racemenu, from lazytools, via console command (via player.setscale etc) or from any other tool that allows changes to the shape, color, size etc. That would be the goal of my suggested mod. To create an actionable bodyslide model (like any other one can download and install for choosing within Bodyslide64) from whatever arbitrary body is currently in use by the player, be it modified *in-game* or not, either from the save file or from an MCM style interface in game, whichever does the job. As I said, I have no idea how to accomplish it. Or whether it's even possible.
