Smellsin
So I've been trying to implement a branch that is in one quest and place it in another by clicking on Dialogue Views, right-clicking in the empty space, choosing Insert branch into current view, and unselecting Current quest only. I waited 20 mins and nothing popped up yet, and can't find an answer yet.
TomTesoro
Moving a whole branch isn't really viable. You'll have to make a new branch on the quest that you want to move it to, then go into the topics and right click on them and select move to, and make sure you uncheck where it says current quest. It will then bring up a ton of branch options to move it to, you'll want to find the one you just created.
Smellsin
Now just to make sure I didn't screw up the steps, do I right-click onto the branch I would like to edit and then select Edit topic, then right-click in the Info box and select Move to Topic, then finally unselect the Current Quest only box?I came to the same problem as last time, so I'm not sure it's just with the branches after all. Thank you though, its actually feels easier if I just ported over the topics instead of the branches because specializing different branches feels good. My main goal is to re-use the script in the quest and I'll be using it multiple times in lots of the vanilla quest. I just don't want 50 different scripts that accomplish the same task, and saw the previous owners were able to transfer over the whole branch over. If their's any alternative though, I'd definitely use that instead (tried using TES5Edit and the esp screwed up the script permanently). TomTesoro
So what exactly is the issue you're running into then?
Smellsin
The issue so far is that no sort of information displays once I go through the steps you provided or the steps I went through. I cannot find any sort of information on this yet and don't know what to do.
TomTesoro
Check the conditions on your dialogue. It's possible that it requires certain conditions to be met before it displays, and they have not been met.
Smellsin
Well if you mean for the very dialogue I'm looking for currently that can't happen, since I can't see a single dialogue from any mission once I deactivate Current quest only If you mean that I have to set the condition of the branch I'm editing, then that didn't work either. I've tried changing the type of branch and the subtype of the dialogue and nothing changed. I can't seem to find a answer to this strange question yet.
