Not a request, more of a template for modders that would allow them an actual skill tree to use.

My suggestion isn't really for a mod, it is more a template for modders to be able to open up an actual skill tree for use in a way most would gladly accept.

Merge the Lock Picking and Pick Pocket skill trees as they are both overall lackluster alone for their talents and have massive overlap.

Maybe call it "Theft" or "Slight of hand" but.

Combine Light Fingers + Novice Locks, Apprentice Locks, Adept Locks, Expert Locks, Master Locks into:

Deft Fingers (5 Ranks): Pickpocketing Bonus of (20/40/60/80/100)% and (Novice/Apprentice/Adept/Expert/Master) locks are much easier to pick.

Combine Quicks Hands + Night Thief into:

Unseen: Allows you to pick locks unnoticed and increases pick pocket odds by 25% if the target is sleeping

Combine Cutpurse + Golden Touch into:

Greed: Pickpocketing gold is 50% easier and find more gold in chests.

Combine Keymaster + Wax Key into:

Keymaster: Automatically gives you a copy of a picket locks key if it has one and pick pocketing keys almost always works.

Combine Treasure Hunter + Extra Pockets into:

Treasure Hunter: You have a 50% great chance of finding special treasures and increases carry weight by 100.

Combine Misdirection + Perfect Touch + Locksmith into:

Golden touch: Can pick pocket equipped weapons and items and makes lock picks start close to the lock opening position.

Combine Unbreakable + Poisoned into:

Master Thief: Lockpicks never break and you can silently hard enemies by placing poisons in their pockets.

This would allow you to free up an entire tree to be re-purposed into something else. Maybe for Unarmed attacks, maybe for Cooking, maybe for some new weapon type, maybe for some new spell type. All without losing any actual utility from the actual 2 trees and you can see just how well they mesh and honestly, feel lackluster compared to the others separate.

Hopefully they could use this for future mods if a modder could make this template and just post it as a modders resource. I honestly would love to see it since we can't actually make a new talent tree as far as I can tell short of using menu tricks. This way we can just re-purpose one of theirs.

As an addition to this, now that I actually had time to think about it. Could a modder actually make this for me and consolidate the 2 trees and have the spare tree turned into this in some form:

Skill Tree: Unarmed
1) Monk (5 Ranks): Increases unarmed damage by (20/40/60/80/100)% and allows your unarmed damage to increase with your unarmed skill level.
2) Meditation (2 Ranks): Reduces the stamina cost of unarmed power attacks by (25/50)%.
3) Fisticuffs (2 Ranks): Increases unarmed attack speed by (20/40)%.
4) Gut shots: Your unarmed attacks also reduce your opponents stamina.
5) Ch1nk in the armor(3 Ranks): If completely unarmed, your unarmed attacks ignore (25/50/75)% of your opponents armor. (Had to spell it to Ch1nk otherwise the forum auto-renamed it to "Asian" if I spelled it correctly)
6) Knockout: Successful unarmed sneak attacks deal 6 times normal damage and have a 25% chance to knock out a humanoid target for 5 minutes, Successful unarmed power attacks in sneak deal 16 times normal damage. (If possible, this could activate a kill animation where he snaps their neck)
7) Guard Break: Unarmed power attacks disarm the shield of a blocking target.
8 )Steady Breathing (2 Ranks): Increases the in combat stamina recovery speed by (50/100)%.
9) Paralyzer: Unarmed power attacks against an opponent with less than 5% stamina remaining has a 25% chance to paralyze them.
10) Throat chop: Unarmed quick attacks interupt spell casting and silences them for 2 seconds.
11) On your feet: Increases the recovery from staggers by 50% and reduces stamina cost of running by 50%.
12) Haymaker: Running unarmed power attacks deal double critical damage and have a 25% chance of knocking out the target.

Bonus if they could make one that moved: "Quiet Casting" from the top of the illusion tree to being near the bottom. Would open up the ability for a stealth mage even more.
