alexian5332 Posted September 23, 2012 Share Posted September 23, 2012 Ok first go to http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/740503-humanoid-deathclaw/ to see it's first idea version... ok new features and ideas for this mod request Location for infection/race 2 choices go somewhere to get infected or be infected in the first place. Females do not become legendary but do become mothers(and not the drop an egg to make kids sorda way) i mean a marriage system find that Guy and ehem edit sleeping script to how should i say...do it then after that use a new item (based upon magik luky 8 ball!) to see if you will make nest or not and if you do make nest you lay up to 5 eggs but you must wait exactly 12 ingame days for pregnacy to reach limit and each day stomach get bigger like real women that will have kids but makimum size of stomach is...length of Carbine(trail) and as wide as 2 miniguns for a good experience but this comes with side effects you can be crippled easier, you need to eat meat to keep going, seak -40, barter +4 (because women will get more help when they will have kids), and last of all max carry weight -30 oh and i meant mingiguns like [box] not [box]-barrel- oh and for males you cant do that stuff so you get something for yea (go here to see --> http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/782794-renewed-humanoid-deathclaw/page__p__6267582__hl__humanoid+deathclaw__fromsearch__1#entry6267582 ) sorry link is long :/ but still the idea is awesome someone make this for people who want to be a hybrid! I can see your really passionate about this subject (and that's a good thing) despite the difficulties I explained in the old thread (I'm not sure you quite understood the amount of effort involved). People have been requesting playable deathclaws all the way back since 2008, the reason they havn't been made is the amount of work involved. But GreenKnightFury and I (hopefully Trooper & Darkus will help as well) will be starting a non lore mod reminiscent of gamma world. Hopefully this mod will have many custom races from different creatures (they even have Windlings which are small mutants that appear to be pixies...although flying might be out of the question :down: ). Since I'll be looking into custom races, and that's one way of doing what you want (the other is a custom armor "costume"). I'll see what I can come up with. I won't commit to much at the moment, maybe just two or three outfits and if it's popular I'll make more as well as implementing many of the suggestions you made in this and your old thread (as well as many ideas I have of my own). So I probably won't be starting the custom race research until the new year, however we can gather ideas, work out a plan now and brainstorm all the details now, so they will be done before the mod proper starts. I'll probably work up a beta sometime late next month for testing. Since these are intelligent deathclaws we will be having as avatars, I believe we should model them on the only known ones (IIRC) (from fallout 2). Goris is affected by albinism, he is dark grey and has red eyes. He is also smaller and can wear a robe to disguise his race if seen from a distance. He was also a scholar and has from 5-8 IN. Xarn would appear to be normal size and traits as other deathclaws, although he only has 1 CH and 4 IN. This gives us two races that have different physical (color, size) and mental attributes, so the player has some choice in character creation. All outfits will have to be custom made at teh workbench, and to balance gameplay some armors will simply be to advanced to reproduce (no deathclaw power armor). But lighter armors with the deathclaw's natural skin will still be very competitive with power armor. Some armor recipes will only be available to higher intelligence deathclaws and that will balance out those who choose brains over brawn. But there have been multiple threads about requests to play death claws, and probably death claw hybrids. There is also a model for a cybernetic enhanced deathclaw. and being so it's not necessasy to be that tall...ok surely taller than an ordinary man (maybe Super Mutant's height may fit it...dunno)) There is a good base for a smaller death claw, as per "Goris" from fallout 2. He's smaller and an albino. Him and his pack could probably be considered a subspecies. However...i think a work like this should be done by a full team of modders ratherthan only 1 Modder... Not really, I believe the resources are already done, but there is no compelling story line. That's why I said; No new ideas? Won't be putting the time into it unless there is feedback and contribution of ideas/suggestions. I'm not very interested in making a mod that simply replaces the players model and has some new perks. The mod should tell a story that makes the deathclaw integral to the mod itself. I was thinking the story is that the courier was walking along on Lonesome road and as he was beginning to return to Goodsprings to get some rest but A strange deathclaw (glowing and fast moving) and bites the courier (vamprism?) and after 3 days (ingametime) The courier should begin to see side effects such as growing claws and a tail (courier -> argonian -> deathclaw human hybrid) and after even more days the courier should be a deathclaw. But with human attributes such as speech and smarts. So you think the mod is possible? or not? so if we can get a modder or modder team on here working on this it would work geat with the nvdeathclaw commander!
