SSE Creation Kit: Duplication of Folder in lower case

I created a custom ring, but noticed after adding it in Creation Kit that the folder "AmuletsandRings" now shows up twice - one as I've typed it, and once in all lower case. Both folders seem to contain the same exact items, which include all the vanilla stuff plus my new custom ring. What caused this, and more importantly, is it something I need to worry about and/or fix?

That's just the CK using the path from the item to give you a filtered and "organized" view. The filtering in the CK is case sensitive but the game and filesystem aren't. It's not a problem just slightly annoying when you're looking for something and have to check both sections in that CK list.

Ah, ok - thanks for clearing that up. Is there a way to remove the second one or otherwise "fix" it? It's making my OCD a lil' itchy.

The only way to fix it would be to change the how the path is typed on the object. Literally go find where you typed "AmuletsandRings" and change it to all lowercase.
