rogeeke1 Posted September 23, 2012 Share Posted September 23, 2012 So this navmesh is a pain. I just need an utility for gaurds to patrol. So why not use the same concept as the wasteland defence border markers? If gaurds can patrol between these, why not make a system where you can make different named type markers for different npc's (maybe give them certain items to define their markers). This way if i put blue marker a at the barracks and blue marker b at the front gate, if have a simple linear path, good enough for someone pattroling. The npc patrolling these blue markers is holding a blue let's say compass to let him know wich route to patrol. My ultimate wish is a route of unlimited markers (around my whole fort) and triggers on that route for npc's, for example at the blind spot at my fort's eastern wall, the guard should take a piss, but not every time.
