gman517
Hi guys. I've seen multiple topics that use this but can't figure out how to make anchors to link to in a large topic Since I've seen it actually used on the forum there must be a way. Also none of these topics I've seen link to anything external. In add link there is a link to anchor in text. Which keeps telling me no anchor available in text. gman517
I'm in the process of writing a very very long tutorial page. Actually wondering if Spoilers would do the job just as well. But for the sake of neat looking tutorials that don't have spoiler buttons all over the place, Is it possible to link to further down the same page on Nexus. I found a topic a from year ago saying its not possible yet so hoping this has been fixed a year later? From my understanding of web design. the browser still needs to load the content even if it's hidden so how one presents information is up to preference? It's frustrating , even though the idea is sound, you can not depend on the sites statics to remain steady.Do you understand? Not to shoot down your efforts but you may waste a lot of time.'The nexus is in constant flux. For example, the nexus search feature is still broken partially, In order to find an exact link, and the search results are empty, I simply right click My search iten and google it, then I have the correct pages I need. A lot of the links I once had in my profile find dead zones now. Some times in posts, I have to go back and re-edit them , to fix blank pages, this is due to the sites purging old entrees and clean ups. It's not personal, it's how the software works. Static pages fluctuate constantly. That's why I asked. and that's what I thought your intentions were, had an idea.you would be better off using google listings as they are better updated to mod pages and forum posts. Not all, but better. I hope that helps you decide on what you r going to do. EDIT: here is an example of how unreliable the quest your on will be.A simple Google search for "ten penny reset mod " brings up this page in the forums.( https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1865915-does-anyone-still-have-that-tenpenny-quest-reset-mod%EF%BC%9F/ )when you clicjk on either links found you will discover what I am talking about. gman517
What about Spoilers. Will they break too? or should forum BBcode at least remain sound?

gman517
Ok so I'd need to use Google links or just keep the page long. Any thoughts on a Geck Fallout3 tutorial, which is what im working on? Or is it as simple as host my own pages and that way it can't break on me. Purr4me
I truthfully am sorry. No, incorrect. Your best bet would be to make a server on discord that will remain static and personal to your liking. Edited August 16, 2019 by Purr4me
