X/X-2 HD Remaster FFX/X-2 Mod Talk, Questions, Ideas

Couldn't find an FFX/2 HD Remaster forum under forums. Wouldn't let me start one there. Anyway, I'm mostly just interested in the modding side of it. Want to make one. Gots ideas, yeah, let's talk about it and stuff.

So I'll get things started a little bit.

 

Not a whole bunch of really cool mods for ffx and x2. It's old, kind of tired, but I really liked this game back in the day. There're cool texture stuff, some sphere grid stuff, but this game needs some overhauling. I'm a basically a noob, barely modded anything, Fo3 and Oblivion, minor stuff... long time ago. I need help finding out how to get models into FFX and FFX2, cuz I got this stupid idea to build onto the game and world. You know you do too.

 

Other ideas welcome I guess, but I kinda wanted some modder/ technical chit chat here. Creative stuff's cool too tho.

Id love to see smth to change characters shown on field, like in the tales games.

Another awesome thing imo would be to have a retexture to swap Tidus for Cloud from FF7 <3 Or Wakka becoming Barret x) Maybe even the whole party ^^

 

Tidus -> Cloud

Yuna -> Tifa

Rikku -> Jessie

Wakka -> Barret

Lulu -> Aerith

Auron -> Vincent

Kimahri -> Red (Thisone might be Difficult but its also the least needed if u ask me, maybe Kimahri should remain himself)

 

Seymore -> Sephiroth (ofc)

 

Now that i think of it, its a quite similar party..

out of curiosity, how difficult would it be to create a texture mod for FFX that highlights damage numbers when you crit?
