Terrain won't update ingame

am currently working on a castle mod, but something is weird.

i can't seem to get the terrain to load into the game, i've edited it in the CK, but when ingame,

it doesn't look anything like what i have in the CK.

 

But when i go back into the CK, it's alright, just not ingame.

I get small holes and tears at curtain places and everything else is fine, just not the terrain.

anyone know of a solution, or am i missing something?

 

oh, yeah, this is the tamriel worldspace, not a new one.
