davidhodges
i have installed alot of extra perks and traits and now i cant keep from killing myself when i use explosive weapons and energy weapons the spread size is insane and alot of damage as well as every kill i make has the enemy body blowing up like a giant plasma bomb.So is there a mod that can keep me from killing myself from my own weapons? dubiousintent
"Area of Effect" weapons are supposed to used at a distance to avoid that problem. Use a more appropriate weapon for closer range work You don't use a grenade to kill someone at hand-to-hand range. That's why there are so many weapons in this game. It is also why you have a range of choices in perks and traits. If you regret some of your choices, there are existing mods (such as "FNV Cheat Terminal Redux") that will let you redo those choices. No need of a new mod. -Dubious-

dubiousintent
Then I would suggest you identify what mod, perk, or trait is increasing the area or inaccuracy so much and remove it. Think of it this way: in order to create such a mod as you suggest you will need to provide that same information anyway. What effect (explosion) is so "off the scale" and by how much? Give some concrete examples, using the same scene and comparing between a "vanilla" game and your modded one. What all is affected by that effect (i.e. which weapons, types of projectile), does it cover more than one "type", and what are the normal values? (Search "The Vault" and "Nukapedia" wikis.) Nobody is going to tackle a project so vaguely defined. They need a starting point. -Dubious-
