Aromov
One of the things I'm most surprised about in regards to Skyrim modding is that there's so few mods that actually make it worthwhile to spend all that gold you've earned either legitimately or through mods that adds a few businesses to the game such as Windstad Mine, Honeystrand Meadery and Kataxias Ciderhouse Restaurant. So I have a few suggestions if any modders are looking for something new to make. 1. Fancy RestaurantsWho wouldn't want to dine out at an expensive, high class looking establishment with all the other nobles in the land every now and then? Maybe place it in or (preferably) near Solitude and have it scripted to have certain NPCs dine out at it every once in a while, or just give it's own custom NPCs. 2. Fancy HotelsMulti story building with various rooms, all clean, comfy and luxurious. If throwing lore friendly out the window, maybe this one could have a bit of a baroque aesthetic, but that's just my personal preference. 3. Improve Honorhall OrphanageYou're probably not gonna go the extra mile and adopt all the kids who end up orphaned, why not invest a few thousand gold every now and then to expand the orphanage, give the kids their own comfier looking rooms and ensure they're getting quality meals? 4. Invest in a Women's ShelterIn a world like the Elder Scrolls, there's gotta be a lot of women who have had their share of horrible experiences, might as well give them a safe place in the world to run to and recuperate. Plus, we gotta have at least one good note on our track record after probably spending hours upon hours slutting up followers, trading slaves, and both experiencing and running brothels, right? Who knows, might even make for a nice quest for healing that expands to a heartwarming romance experience for your Dragonborn 5. Watch a Stage PerformancePerhaps you can convince a few people to lend their voices to help enact a few plays that are based on the books found throughout the Elder Scrolls franchise and pay to go see them, similar to the Star is Born quest in Morrowind 6. Host a PartyFind a venue whether it exists in the game already or added via the mod and spend hundreds to thousands of gold to host a party, the more gold you put in it, the livelier and fancier the party will be 7. Mercenary Raiding PartyEver wanted to go exploring a dungeon but didn't feel like fighting all those bandits, undead and wildlife? Well pay a few hundred gold to have mercenaries go clear a path in the dungeon for you. The more gold you shell out, the less enemies that will remain alive for you to fight in that dungeon 8. The Haughty DragonbornIf there was one thing you really wanted to do just to flaunt your wealth, it's treat the poorer NPCs like dirt. Maybe you're "generous" enough to throw a few gold their way in exchange for doing a few humiliating things, like doing some silly poses and dances, fight other NPCs for it, running around town naked or if you want to go into the adult mod territory... I'll likely come up with more Edited August 19, 2019 by Aromov
