No Mods in VR

Hi there

 

I'm new to NMS and to modding so I may have a daft question or two in the coming weeks.

 

My first is:

Whenever I have even a single mod in the Mods directory the game just won't load into VR (Oculus Rift S).

I've deleted DISABLEMODS.TXT so loading up on the monitor is fine.

It's just in VR that it loads into a black screen.

 

Any ideas?

Is it possible you are using one of the mods that change or bypass the intro screens? I have had problems with black screens when using something like "Skip Intro Logos (For Beyond)". I end up having to click through black screens to get to the main menu. Maybe something like this is causing your black screens in VR?

Same problem here. I don't use any mods that change the screen and the mods all load in standard game but have the 'mods in use' warning screen. I see the loading screen and then a solid black screen and I can't do anything, none of the controls on my VR controllers or keyboard keys do anything. Even the screen on the PC monitor is solid black.
