Nifskope Question

I had a quick question, and hoping someone can help me out figure this out. I'm using Nifskope to view .nif files, and I can't figure out how to combine .nif files.

For example, I am looking at Oblivion creature .nif files, such as a bear, black bear, wolf, mountain lion, deer, etc.

There are multiple pieces such as with the bear, there is a bearbody.nif and a bearhead.nif, or blackbearbody.nif and a blackbearhead.nif.

So what I want to do is combine bearbody.nif and bearhead.nif together as a single .nif file... but when I paste the bearhead.nif into the bearbody.nif file, the head part is not in place where it should be. It's rotated 180degrees the other direction, and is not connected to the body, and more importantly not where the head should fit onto the body.

The .nif body parts seem like they should just adjust and fit where they are supposed to, but they don't.

The same goes with the blackbear .nif files, and the deer .nif files, and the wolf .nif files, and the mountainlion .nif files.

Is there some way to make them join up correctly without having to manually calculate the different rotation and axis movements?? Is there a program or special way of doing this?

I hope someone understands what I am talking about, and how to do this. I think this same thing I am trying to do applies to character body .nif files too... where the heads are not connected or hands or feet, and maybe the lower torso with the upper torso.

If correctly exported from Blender, .nif files that "go together" should always correctly line up, assuming the correct nodes are still in place. Anyway, you may want to look into either getting blender or politely requesting that someone else who is proficient would do it for you if you can't get it to work right!

I figured it out!! All I needed to do was select the specific NiNode and paste branch the part that I want to connect. For example, with the black bear, I open the blackbearbody.nif and the blackbearhead.nif in separate nifskope windows. Then I select the NiTriStrips of the blackbearhead.nif and copy branch. Then I go to blackbearbody.nif and select the Ni Node BearHead:0 and paste branch, and it connected perfectly without having to adjust it at all!! Hopefully, it will work out for other models as well!

Anyway, for those who helped, thanks for the help!
