You have it with you only when you want, it won't stay to budge the fights, you don't have to worry that it will get killed etc. I'm very fond of the concept. But I'm not fond of Arvak himself. I'd like to be able to summon a normal horse. I roleplay a sort of Dragoon, a cavalry unit which uses ranged weapons ( now a musket, with the Musket Mod) and sweep in with the sword in times of need, but Arvak is too magic for me.
