Lucifer117b
Hey there. I was just wondering if someone could give me a hand. I'd like to know what command to use to edit the amount of gold you are carrying. I've searched through the site but I can't find the information anywhere. I need this info because I'm trying to work out the best combination of armour types, and I really don't have the time to play it thru again to get all the cash I need. If someone could give me a hand I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers...
Malchik
I suggest this only for test purposes. The mod I am referring to is totally unbalancing. Load the Island mod. Go to the Island first off (out of Balmora by the silt strider) with a potion of rising force and a scroll of almsivi or divine intervention. Levitate into the door in the tower. Loads of money (more than 1000000) and most Daedric armour including helmets available to be picked up). Use the scroll to get back to Balmora and go from there. Loumbas
You can always use the player->additem ........ console command and get the id of money from the construction set. You do that a few times u can get a couple of thousands backs. Still selling to creeper stuff you get from daedric ruins (usually full of dremora lords) or soul gems is the easier way to get cash. Lucifer117b
Thanhs. much appreciated. i've completed the game already, I'm only doing this out of boredom. I'd like to find a good combination of armours. The best, I hope. I still love the heavy leather boots. I wish there was a full set of armour to match... oh well. SilvuruAgnost
if you need a console hack. GO TO CHEAT SITE.
Loumbas
I am collecting armors my self (in fact I am collecting everything in Morrowind). I went into the construction set and now have a complete list of all items in the game i.e. all weapons, all armor pieces, all rings, robes, books etc. So I collect one of each. Basically I have visited everything that is a cave, building ruin, house etc and ransacked them clean almost (I been playing the same game for almost a year). I eventually want to have one of everything! Of course there are some things that you need to kill people to get so its a good idea to wait until you finished alle the quests to start killing. Then there are a few things that disappear for ever once used in a quest and you cant get them even if you kill someone so then you are "justified" to use the console just for completeness purposes. I dont like to do that (I did it once for a silver bowl because I found it and then sold it to someone and couldnt locate it). :bleh:
Malchik
I don't think experimentation is the same as cheating. If you want to try out some ideas before deciding on your strategy for a new game who cares if you allocate everything through the console. It is only cheating IMO if you then try to pass it off as a proper game. But if you decide you want a character with Eleidon's ward, the Lord's Mail, the fists of Randagulf, the Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw, the boots of blinding speed and armed with Eltonbrand because you liked that combination during your test, you have to start the new game without them and get them the hard way! Lucifer117b
Everyone is entitled their own opinion. I'd just like to see what benefits each form of armour has, and how I may combine different pieces to get a good armour rating without it weighing overly much. I'm also looking for high sp's and, simply put, a suit that is pleasing to the eye. I apologise if anyone who read my post feels that I am taking away from the essence of the game (or something...) by this. I don't see it as cheating on the grounds that I have already completed the game without using a single mod or console hack. Anywho, Thankyou eveyone for your interest and input. Happy hunting..... :nazgul:
