AlexRuzhyo
After poking around in the CS and some other tools and feeling quite lost, I resort to a couple housing requests. 1. There's plenty of Inns in Cycrodiil but not much use for them. There's not any safe containers, you can't leave items laying about, and picking up non-food items counts as theft. The worst part probably is you have no place to store your goods without owning a house: many of the Vanilla don't fit role playing for certain characters and some of the mod homes are "overdone". How about a mod that allows you to lease or permanently buy am existing room in the middle and upper class Inns through Cyrodiil? I've searched through the Site and the only thing that really comes close is Lithium's Imperial city/Bravil/Leyawiin suite. I love the Leyawiin suite, but it still is quite too extravagant for most characters. The Inns I'd like in specific are Anvil's Count's Arms, Chorrol's Oak and Crosier, Leyawiin's Three Sister's Inn, Cheydinhal's Cheydinhal Bridge Inn, or Bruma's Jerall View Inn. There's too many in the Imperial city to name specifically. If anything, at the least The Count's Arms and Three Sister's Inn. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2. Another request but it falls under a similar tone and I don't wish to flood the main page with multiple requests: The lower class home in Leyawiin is rather dull compared to the upper class homes the NPCs own. Is it possible to change where certain NPCs live, perhaps making them live in an Inn ala "A Real IC House"? The two possible houses I found with are Ra'Jahirr's (He's totally useless from what I see) house and Alval Uvani's house (he's only there on Sunday's). The houses are fine save for Ra'Jahirr's roomy first floor and 2 separate beds upstairs. A bigger dining table or more lighting may fix it up since the darkness may just make it feel empty. I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Making the sleeping area designed for a single person rather than having two beds would be nice too. The only problem with Uvani's house is the unhung paintings on the first floor. Thank you for your time. I know I tend to drone on.
LoginToDownload
The ownership of Inn rooms is plausible enough, since the game's renting is essentially temporary ownership. If you built a different cell for ownable inns/houses, it would stop some compatibility issues and the need to make a lot of persistent references for SetOwnership. (Or can you do that with Subspaces?) Swapping ownership would require AI overhauls specifically for each individual you would be buying from, and they would have to have a new home specified by the modder as well. The locked chests that the key doesn't open would also be weird, and NPC houses already have limited "storage" containers, so the houses would need to be edited significantly as well. That's not to say it's undoable, just that it's a lot of work and would likely need to edit the house itself to produce good results.
