[LE] [Creation Kit] Different armor addons for only one gender

Hi. I'm trying to replace female helmets (only) by circlets. Is there a way to only change female helmet armor addons using creation kit?

To see men npcs faces when they're wearing helmets is boring :/

I think I did not explain my problem well :/

I'm a beginner, sorry if I use the wrong words.

I'll try to explain you my problem clearly this time :

I created a new circlet mesh, I wanted it to replace the already existing female helmet mesh (the Daedric Helmet for example), so I modified the "biped object" into a circlet, then I modified the model's (DaedricHelmetAA) "biped object" into a circlet.

There comes my problem :

Now the game wants the female *and* male helmet to be a circlet, so I can't see male helmets because the "partition type" (in OutfitStudio) of it's mesh isn't a circlet. However, I can now see the circlet I created on females.

Basically the OP wants to make it so that, say, a dedric helmet displays as a circlet for females while staying a full helmet for males, and wants to know if the armor addon system supports that functionality.

The armors in the Creation Kit have a bunch of settings. One of them is what world model it is using - one for male and one for female.
I guess you could just tell that slot to use a circlet for females. All the others properties would stay the same. In game that circlet
would still be considered a Deadric helmet. It would just look like a circlet on females. Of course that would be kind of odd.

Oh I understand what you are asking now. ... I guess you already made it that far.
Did you edit the ArmorDaedricHelmet too. The DaedricHelmetAA is linked to that.

Not really sure if this will work or if it even should be done. May just be giving Skyrim a reason to crash at some point.

There's no way to appoint different slots for male and female model. Either helmet, or circlet, or both, or none of these.

 

What you can do in this situation is you can create a new ARMA and ARMO (a circlet for females). Add this ARMO to a new outfit. And appoint this outfit for female NPC to wear. You need to know which NPC should wear it.

 

Creating new armour is always for good. One day you'll probably meet a handsome man whose face deserves to look at ;)

Yes creating a whole new armor or anything is always what I do. Even if it would work. Just to make sure my added whatever will never mess with anything already there.
