APNxRPG24
I just made a simple house mod that is unfinished, but it won't show up. There is a door in Goodsprings that is linked up to another door in an interior cell. The two doors are linked up, the .esp file is in my data folder, and the mod is checked when I start the game. But the door does not show up and I don't know why. I checked the setting on the doors, but I don't think that it the problem. I think the problem is the mod won't load up. I am new to making GECK mods and installing New Vegas mods, so please help me. I could give a download link to the file as a last resort if that would help. APNxRPG24
Sounds like a problem with the game not the mod. Is the game up to date?No it's not updated and that is probably the problem, but don't worry I will get it figured out. I actually had some other questions off topic, that I would like to be answered. First, I wanted to know how to import custom "static" world objects into the GECK. I started making my own house and I can't really find any good pieces to put together for it. Also I maybe wanted to put in custom models/textures like a unique poster or maybe like a custom made toy or something. I don't want to make high quality weapons, armor, or inventory items, just stuff to put in the GECK to place in your buildings/maps. Also, I wanted to find some more detailed tutorials on the GECK. Just for making cells and maps though. I search Bethsoft's GECK website, but I can't seem to find much.

Steam auto updates the game. You need to get it updated before we can even start talking about the other things you mentioned.
