raidon18 Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 (edited) Welcome to this topic, the Idea for this mod is to create a sword dubbed "sword of forgotten souls" The sword starts out weak with only 1 damage to it, and to make it stronger u must kill, and reap many souls with it.having killed a certain amount of people with it, the sword will lvl its self. say every 20-30 kills it goes up by 1 damage,Now the sword can also be improved at the sharpening stone, but requires souls to do it, and this will actually make the sword transform into a stronger looking version. there being many stages of the sword, now the catchy thing about the sword, is it will start to take your life if u do not take someone elses, like it cant just sit in your inventory.and the more u use it, the more u need it, like a drug.and I thought that when it reaches its max state, it would fuse with part of your arm and look like your right arm or left, is part of the sword. its a very complex idea, but Would be epic, and give the game a real sense of progression and would add more for crofters to do, and people who like to grow, There are many more ideas to add to this idea....but for now ima leave it at this, and hope pray that someone with the skill will come by and try to pic this up. u could make a cool quest out of it, or storyline.... An effective way to make it require souls to level up the sword is for the tempering recipe to require filled black soul gems. If the sword is for reaping souls, does it have a native Soul Trap enchantment on it? (That would make life with it a lot easier.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I like your idea, yeah that would be pretty good to have the soul trap, that would make it less difficult to make, also u could take the script from the ebony blade, and figure out a way to slightly modify it...hmmm I hope this is made, I know people would download it like nuts.. Starting with 1 damage, and increasing it with kills, and souls makes killing a dragon, and killing some random bandit worth while:) and I thought it be epic if the modder created a script with a random process, so when u upgrade the sword, u will have a random enchant:) so no sword is alike.
