Which Magic Mod...?

:wallbash: I'm just wondering, which should you use? Because they all look awesome, but it looks like they conflict in alot of ways, especially spell icons and the sheer number of spells. I am leaning towards L.A.M.E. as it seems the over all best. But Midas seems just pure awesome. Haven't really looked into Supreme Magic though. Is there mod that maybe incorperates the bests of each mod into one? :wallbash:

I don't know what L.A.M.E. is, but Midas Magic doesn't fundamentally change spellcasting. All it does is adds a bunch of scripted spells (and quests, and planes of existence, but that's not really related to the issue) that can be created using a special apparatus in a new area. I know it doesn't conflict with Supreme Magicka (which adds a couple new spell types and changes Vanilla Oblivion's magic effects through use of liberally applied Script Effects. For example, Fire Damage effects have a small chance of staggering their victim, and you can perform sneak attacks with spells).

You can use all these mods ( Midas, S.M and L.A.M.E) without problem :thumbsup:

The only thing it's choice what's conjuration rule you prefer from S.M or L.A.M.E ( there is am esp file in S.M that work with this subject) but beside this, no concerns.

 

And as there is some spells in L.A.M.E thats S.M dosen't have and vise-versa thus it's expand your choise. And L.A.M.E allow you to choose your initial speels according with the type of your mage-character.

I use LAME because I use the Race Balancing Project. So using the new magic system thats compatible with it seems to make sense to me.

 

I used to use Mighty Magic and Midas Magic but I got annoyed with it. Odd bugs popped up and going to the effort of actually making the spells in Midas was too much of a pain in the ass lol.
