Skyrim Savegame won't work

Dear people,

 

i've got a problem that many people have, and i also try many of solutions.

But it just won't help.

The problem is that i can't load my save game since i changed my armour set (this mod has diffrent armour sets)

Now you thinks, just delete the mod.

But the funny part is that when i load an older savegame where i used another armour set (same mod but diffrent armour) it works, and then when i go to load and select the latest savegame (that doesn't work if i load it from the main menu) it will work!

But i don't like the idea that i first have to load a older savegame to load my new savegame.

I hope someone can solve my problem.

 

PS: The savegame that won't load will not load when i used continue or load from the main menu but only from another savegame.

PPS: I hope you people could understand my problem, my english is not that good.

Remember that a save saves WITH all of the current mods. Most of the time removing a small mod will not cause any problems and the game is able to continue. Sometimes, the save requires something that was removed -when it cannot find it - it crashes.

 

Before removing anything move your character to a safe (non modded) interior cell and make a new save. Exit the game and remove the mod. restart the game and load the save. then play for a minute or so - what you do is not important, it is just to allow the game to do some housekeeping. Then make a new save and exit. Add the new mod and start. load that new save and continue the game.

 

This works for smaller mods - a large game changing mod can still cause a lot of problems when removed. The game will be looking for things that are no longer there and crashing.
