link182 Posted August 27, 2019 Share Posted August 27, 2019 So I made a key and originally added it to the merchant chest but didnât want it to be something you could buy again. I was advised to simply add the item to the merchants inventory instead however, the key isnât showing up in the list of items for sale and is only shown when I try to pickpocket them. Galcyon Posted August 27, 2019 Share Posted August 27, 2019 Make a new container for it, set it up like a merchant container, but make sure that it doesn't respawn. Either that or just add it loose in their shop (under their ownership)? I'm not 100% sure since I don't have access to the CK right now, but I think both methods might wotk. foamyesque Posted August 31, 2019 Share Posted August 31, 2019 Actually, I am a bit embarrassed: There's a very simple answer that a number of vanilla things use. Put the merchant chest in an alias.
