How to fix "Ciri's Room" bug

Hello everyone!

As it happened to me you too will have happened to talk to Gretka before starting the quest "Ciri's room" and then not being able to finish the quest because you could no longer talk to the girl and deliver the spinning top.

The code used to fix and complete the mission is: addfact(q103_margaret_about_toy)

to remove the spinning top: removeitem('q103_spinning_top') or you can sell/drop it

that addfact code addfact(q103_margaret_about_toy) didn't work for me.

 

I managed to get into the Crows Perch before being sent there (wanted to use my stash box), got into that room and since I had "looked" everywhere first, it's now all messed up.

 

I only have 2 checkboxes in the Ciri's room quest, "examine the room" and "read the book", I've given the spinning top over because I had picked it up prior to even getting that quest.

 

I'm about to experiment with removing all facts for that quest and re-adding them.

 

Any ideas?

for anyone in the same position

I had to do the following in order

 

additem('q103_spinning_top')

 

that progressed the quest to add the 'talk to gretka' option

 

then addfact(q103_margaret_about_toy)

then removeitem('q103_spinning_top')

 

that finished the quest for me
