liamwebster08
I have just completed the Season Unending Quest and made a peace treaty between the Stormcloaks and Imperials at High Hrothgar with the Greybeards. The truce went well with no glitches... However... On exiting the building I discovered that 4 of the NPC's seem to be permanently stuck wandering on the steps outside High Hrothgar. They then don't return to the places they need to be, they also will not communicate with me if I try to interact with them other than to give a brief comment on the Truce's outcome. The NPC's stuck include the entire Imperial group of General Tullius, Jarl Elisif the Fair, Elenwin and Legate Rikke. I have tried replaying the truce with hopes that on a second and third try the problem would be solved but it hasn't been. Have also tried waiting a number of game days but has made no difference. Is there anyway of fixing this? Will it lead to complications later in the game or is it a problem which I do not need to worry about? Will they just respawn when required later in the game at the locations I need them if I get a quest involving them. Would like to know if this is the case before I continue playing. I should point out that as I have sided with the Stormcloaks in the civil war, but but have not completed the quest line yet having only just reached the battle of Whiterun so far, I am assuming that three of these characters are quite likely to be essential in the quest line of taking over Skyrim from the Imperials? I would rather like to solve this problem so that they are not stuck up a mountain in a blizzard! That and I was hoping to purchase property in Solitude but that may be rather tricky if the Jarl is not in residence! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
