evileva
Hey guys - recently got machine capable of running DA Origins again but I've lost my mod folders. I need help trying to track down a couple of mods: one that expands the quickbar at the bottom of the screen and one that allows you to customise/choose every option for characters (ie: allowing you to choose what skills/abilities not only you but also your companions have). I couldn't find a mod detective thread which is why I've opened this one.
Thandal
Hmmm... used the Nexus "Advanced Search" menu and found these in about 0.5 seconds: Aditional Quick Bars - Use up to all fifty quickslots regardless of display resolution. Multiple rows. Row centering options. Quickbar Tweaks - Instant quickslot bar swap while switching weapon set, and adds a few console commands for bar management. Advanced Quickbar - This add-in gives you access to 4 quickbars. You can navigate through them with a Next and a Previous button. Additional Quickslotbar - Instant quickslot bar swap while switching weapon set, and adds a few console commands for bar management.Which one were you looking for? Using "Abilties" as the search term, found these in about the same amount of time: Abilities - Add ability trees and talents to Hawke and all your companions, slightly changed default behavior, updated modified party picker. Use what you want, remove what you don't. All Specs - All Abilities - for Everyone - Gives All class-appropriate Abilities and Specializations to all characters. Now with instructions for games in progress! Special Respecialisations - Respecs for Custom Abilities - Allows the Party-members to unlearn custom abilities. NOTE: This will only work with ability mods that have been made to work with this mod. All ability mods can be easily customized to add this compatibility. No Starting Abilities - This mod changes new character creation, so that the game will no longer assign certain abilities based on class and background.Any of those provide what you need? evileva
Actually you've managed to fin exactly what I was looking for: additional task bars and the no starting abilities mods in particular. Kind of embarrassed at my search-fu skills now. Thanking you most kindly.
Thandal
Glad to help. (And my search Fu has been honed over years of being a Nexian. The trick is to know that the "Advanced Search" option exists in the first place!)
