Ok... So I write music.

I <3 Fallout.

I'm looking to work with a bunch of people, not even just like a few people

but a metric ton of people to create like the most badass mod ever. I have

a lot of ideas, and yeah, new music for a new mod & new voiceovers etc would be badass...

but if there's no mod for them to be in, well... would just be a bunch of useless files

 

Proposition:

 

Using the preexisting world of New Vegas, after basically what I'd call "total game completion."

I want to bring out the BoS even more, maybe give them some kind of like

bandit enemies, and take this wild west thing to a whoooole new level. Almost on the scale of Caesar's army kind of thing.

Create new, unique quest situations that make the player think a ton harder about morals, etc. Use existing mods with kind of a "hand picked" model and texture picking discussion from a bunch of people, to continue on to make this really great.

make it pretty true to life. Add an opposing "Gun Runners" faction kind of thing where you can get different guns, some better, some worse, (also some more

expensive, some less expensive) and even how you get them could affect karma etc. Possibly even use more "real world (i.e. real life)" American History figures

like Jesse James, and Bonnie & Clyde, and others.

 

Maybe create potential for a love(ish) story thing in there. Create a "co character" you may even play as.

Tons of new content etc.

Add lots of new voices for each new npc introduced and for each quest situation, a myriad of new enemies, expand the player world a little too, maybe end up in Texas somehow (In various cities even). Create more dogs (lol) so if say... you don't like robotic pets (smirk) you could maybe have a lab or something... I dunno, I'm weird lol.

 

in addition to all this, using some choice existing mods, my goal would be to make the world of fallout: new vegas, all that much more believable and in depth than it already is. To give even more new life to this beautiful story we are familiar with (I'm still playing, not done yet, I actually had to start my game over b/c my hdd messed up)

 

If I were to give a name for this mod... and all associated things with it...

hinting further at like, maybe the possibility of that "love interest/story"

 

but every rose has thorns, blah blah blah, etc.

 

the beginning majority of the game would be spent in (of course) the mojave, and you would be able to easily get to and from there.

 

maybe a few "outpost" missions along the way from Ariz/Nevada. as in like... Santa Fe, Taos, El Paso, Tuscon, etc. to make good use of even more mountainous areas, and

 

further do what fallout has always done best and create a new, ridiculous alternate history, but a goal here would again, be to combine some real history as well.

 

I dunno. maybe this is like... a lot to suggest. Maybe this would require a whole new game in and of itself. I'm working a lot and I go to school again, and after a few years of what I would call "an unnecessary break" in my life, I'm looking to pursue things I've always wanted to do, and this seems to be a community of like-minded people who like the same stuff.

 

I just had to throw this idea out there. I've been sitting with it for too long. like... wayyyyy too long. Maybe marketing/ real estate isn't the field I should be in, but until then it'd be so freaking cool to do something like this with a bunch of like minded, awesome, dedicated people.
