mod list help

Hi guys!

 

Sorry if this post seems all over the place; i'm new to posting on forums (let alone trouble shooting forums like this), so if I break any etiquette that i'm not aware of, i appologize in advance and please do bear with me.

 

too make a long story short; i used to be super into modding during the time period of F3 and f:NV, but i switched over to consoles for a little bit of time for reasons i can quite fathom myself. i wanted to give comprehensively modding fallout 4 a shot, being that there are so many awesome mods available on PC now, and the complete lack of space for them on xbone.

 

I gave it a shot with MO2 (i used the original MO back in the day) and downloaded a good chunk of mods that i fancied, intalled them and and ordered them based on the outline order list recommnedations found on the bethesda forum. Got it working for one hour before a CTD, then save could no longer be loaded. jsut one CTD after another.

 

i gave it another shot, but an unexpected problem happened and again, had to start from scratch.

 

So i gave it my third attempt this week, got it working, played for a solid 2.25 hrs in survival before a mine killed me trying to load the last checkpoint resulted in CTD. trying to load said last save from the main menu also now cause the CTD loop same as before. I am however able to load the previous save before this one.

 

I'm at my wits end and could really use some help if your willing to give it.

P.s. I think it might have something to do with Vivid weathers.

The save I am no longer able to load was during a particularly nasty storm implemented by vivid weather that combined its winter season, silent hill theme, and rad-storm effects all at once. is it possible that that combination might be particulalry taxing for my system?

Update#1: downgraded from survival to Hard mode to enable manual saving, and played for an additional hour before attempting another save, game close and re-load of said save. The new save loaded, but im still questioning whether or not vivid weathers is the culprit, as I expressly saved in an interior cell (the bar in diamond city) so the weather effects weren't loading in when loading a save...….

 

again any suggestions may be appreciated.
