There is a man with a boat for hire but when I hire the boat to take us to her island home..A: she won't get in the boat and B. OakRain Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 The boat in Solitude (and the other ports) behave in a similar way to the carriages. Pay the Ferryman then activate the boat - that should be it. The Ferrymen will all only take you to Icewater Jetty and not Castle Volkihar.
