MadeUpName92 Posted September 1, 2019 Share Posted September 1, 2019 The whole map system is pretty bad but the part that most drives me nuts is only being able to open the galaxy map while in space. Very often I must launch into space and write down (pencil and paper) the name of the system I want to return to. Then I land again and try to figure out which of my known portals is in the that system. Because teleporting is free and my ships follow me for free. Why waste warp fuel?#1 I want to be able to view the Galaxy map always, no matter where I'm at.#2 (This is probably a whole different issue) I want to be able to see known portals, station and base, by name, marked on the galaxy map with the same portal icon in the base building menu.The idea is, I stand in the station by the teleporter, open my galaxy map and find the system I want to go to and see the closest known portal.
