Clovernoodle Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Hey there. I'm new here. Loving some of the mod's I've seen and I've just begun my lengthy string of downloads while I'm here. I figure while I'm here I could request a mod I've wanted for a while. I'm sure you've all seen the Dovahbear YouTube video. If you haven't, check it out below. One thing I'd really love to see is for this to become a reality in that you could play as a bipedal bear as a race. I dunno how easy it'd be, but I'm sure by editing the Bear model, shrinking it down a tiny bit, and rigging it up to some basic animations may provide a reasonable result. It'd obviously require some tweaking of course, perhaps major, but I think it'd be really cool. Of course it'd require a lot of other changes; there'd probably have to be re-models of armor/helmets made to fit the bear model (if that's how it works), and it'd have to be balanced (probably just an increase to, like, heavy armor and weapon skills or something), but let's be honest, deep down we all want to play as a bipedal bear. Not to mention that the voice clips would all have to be replaced with miscellaneous roars and growls, but that would be hilarious. So, anyone up for the challenge? Though I would pay cash to see a bear try to fit into elven armor. The mental image is making me laugh. Also, having no opposable digit would be a problem with holding swords... but the stately giant panda does have one. And what isn't better with pandas? Nothing, that's what.
